Account Deletion Policy

Overview

This page explains how to request deletion of your PrepLibrary account and the data associated with it. You can do this from inside the app, or by email if you no longer have the app installed.

How to delete the account

Option 1: Delete from inside the app

  1. Open the PrepLibrary app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Scroll to the Account & App section and tap Delete Account.
  4. Tick “I understand this action cannot be undone” and tap Delete.

You will be signed out immediately and your account is deactivated, so you can no longer log in with it

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you can’t open the app, email support@preplibrary.in from the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. Please include:

  • The email address and/or mobile number registered on your account
  • Your full name as shown in the app

We may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before proceeding. We will confirm by email once your request has been processed.

What gets deleted

Within 30 days of your request, the following data is permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymised:

 

  • Your name, email address, mobile number and gender
  • Your password and any linked Google sign-in identifier
  • Your profile photo
  • Your profile details: academic background, exam goals and study preferences
  • Your device notification tokens
  • Any feedback text you submitted that could identify you

What is kept, and for how long

Test attempts, scores and study statistics Kept only in anonymized form (no name, email or mobile) so leaderboards and aggregate statistics stay accurate Indefinitely, but no longer linked to you
Security and fraud-prevention logs To protect the service and other users A limited period, then deleted

Good to know

Deletion cannot be undone. Your progress, subscription and history cannot be restored afterwards. Any active subscription is not refunded automatically; contact support before deleting if you have a billing question.

After deletion you are welcome to create a new account with the same email address or mobile number.
